Expressions of interest for 2024–2025 Regional Community Forum membership were open from 6 November to 1 December 2023.
We will announce new 2024–2025 Regional Community Forum members in each of the seven regions in early 2024.

About the region
More than 230,000 people reside in Central Queensland which spreads across more than 117,500 square kilometres. It stretches from Rockhampton in the north to Agnes Water/1770 in the south and out to Biloela and Emerald in the west.
The region is a well-established contributor to our economy through both tourism and agricultural pursuits.
Queensland’s largest multi-commodity port is located in Gladstone, while the region as a whole is recognised as Australia’s largest beef producer and a substantial contributor to energy production, mining, manufacturing, construction, horticulture, agriculture, fisheries and aquaculture.
Central Queensland encompasses large townships such as Gladstone, Rockhampton, Emerald, Biloela and Yeppoon as well as many smaller communities.
