Celebrating Reconciliation Grants Now Open for 2025
Queensland communities are invited to apply for funding through the 2025 Celebrating Reconciliation Grants, now open to support local events that promote unity, understanding and respect.
The program offers grants valued at $2,500 for events and activities held in or around National Reconciliation Week (27 May to 3 June 2025), with $75,000 in total funding available.
Previous years have seen a wide range of events funded, including traditional performances, art exhibitions, cultural displays, sporting events, storytelling sessions, and community forums—all focused on bringing people together through learning, sharing and celebration.
To be eligible, applicants must be Queensland-based organisations with a valid ABN, including not-for-profits, local councils, charities, incorporated associations and community groups.
Applications close at 8.00 am on Tuesday, 22 April 2025.
Successful recipients will be announced in May 2025.
