National Reconciliation Week
National Reconciliation Week celebrates and supports the respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians. Recognised annually from 27 May to 3 June it embodies two key milestones in the reconciliation journey—the 1967 Referendum and the Mabo decision.

NAIDOC Week
Recognising the contributions Indigenous Australians make to our country and celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and achievements. In 2017, the National NAIDOC Awards were hosted in Cairns.
