Walking with Dads is a Department of Children, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs program, operating in Mount Isa only, for families in contact with Child Safety. This program aims to assist families where fathers have exposed their children to domestic and family violence. Save the Children supports fathers to address barriers that are preventing them from accepting responsibility for their violent behaviours by providing individual and group programs. Men's behaviour change programs work with men who have perpetrated violence against women in Doomadgee, Burketown, Mornington Island and Normanton.
