Provides the following services and programs: Centacare is an organisation that exists to provide social services to Cairns and the wider region, particularly people who are vulnerable, disadvantaged or marginalised within our community. Our vision is for a healthy and connected community that reflects and supports the dignity, equality and participation of all people. Centacare Cairns acknowledges the deep relationship of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to country and we further acknowledge and respect the traditional past and present custodians, the Gimuy Yidinji, Guru Gula Gung-Gand-ji, Yirri-jandi and the Kuku Yelangi people and their ancestral lands. Contact the service for Counselling, Youth, Mental Health, Migrant, Emergency Relief, Employment Services, and the Marlin Coast Respite Centre along with other general information that may be of assistance to you.
