Services
The Centacare Gladstone provides support services to the local communities and work towards enhancing their well-being and building strong and life-giving relationships. Services being offered from the Gladstone site are Counselling; Parenting and Well Being Education Programs, Seminars and Workshops; Outreach services from the Family Relationship Centre in Rockhampton; and Centacare's ACCESS Employee Assistance Program Family Relationship Centres provide information for those experiencing separation - overcoming relationship difficulties or dealing with separation. The service focuses on children's needs and helps parents decide what to do next. Joint sessions with the other parent or family members to help assist with reaching agreement on parenting arrangements can be facilitated. Centacare's Employee Assistance Program provides counselling services to a wide range of organisations from different industries to help employees and their immediate family deal with work or personal issues that may affect their work performance and well being. This service can help with many issues including work related concerns( organisational change, harassment, conflict, work relationships), personal development issues (self esteem, assertiveness), grief and loss, stress management, alcohol and drug use, changes in families (separation or divorce).
