Neighbourhood Centre providing community services, various programs and community development. Services and Programs include: Tenant Advocacy and Advice service Community Development services Located at 155a Boundary Street, the Kurilpa Kiosk is unique community outreach service in the heart of West End. Providing community information, referral and education services, the Kiosk provides an outdoor community service accessible to a broad range of local residents. The Kiosk regularly hosts community celebrations and marks important dates for the community through information and awareness campaigns. Through the Kiosk Community House actively cares for the Community Park, and supports safe use of our public space. With our community service partners, the Kiosk offers clinical services for homeless persons in West End and surrounds Homeless Persons Legal Clinic with our partners Queensland Public Interest Law Clearing House, the Kiosk offers the Homeless Persons Legal Clinic weekly on Friday between 12.30 and 1.30pm. The Homeless Persons Legal Clinic provides free legal advice and assistance to people experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness, across most areas of the law. Homeless Persons Health Checks With our partners Spiritus Nursing, the Kiosk offers a Health Checks for homeless and socially disadvantaged persons weekly on Wednesdays between 12.30 and 1.30pm. The Health Check service provides basic nursing advice and support, including referral to appropriate medical support.
