Looking to the future
In any program, it’s important to reflect on where you are, so you can figure out where you’re heading.
What has worked? What could be better?
Looking back gives us a chance to answer these questions and reminds us about what’s driving this work − what we’re all working towards.
At the RIT, we know that the work we put in will make a real difference to our state’s disaster and emergency response. We’re a few months in now, and we’re proud to have some fantastic achievements under our belts already. I’m confident we’ll continue to kick goals as the program gains momentum.
So far, the RIT has:
- solidified our program of work, highlighting our key milestones and coming to an understanding of the definition of delivered across our many projects.
- conducted deep dives on each of the program areas, gaining an understanding of the current state analysis so we can map a way forward together.
- made some valuable connections with our counterparts across multiple agencies.
- onboarded our Business Reform Coordinators.
- welcomed our Marine Rescue Implementation Program (MRIP) colleagues to the RIT family, after working alongside them to complete their transition from QFES.
