A total of 28 projects have been successful in applying for more than $1.1 million in grant funding for projects which seek to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill and/or litter and marine debris in our environment. See details of the successful projects.

In 2021-2022, an additional $1.6 million was made available to 17 community groups under this category to assist with the clean-up of debris and litter in flood-affected communities between the Gold Coast and Wide Bay.
