Module JAA - Public housing and government infrastructure

This module will help you determine whether your future proposed dealing meets the requirements of public housing or government infrastructure. This only applies to future acts done on Indigenous land tenures, for example, Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Deed of Grant in Trust land.

Your proposed dealing must benefit Aboriginal people or Torres Strait Islanders living in, or in the vicinity of, the area. It must consist of or permit the construction of:

  • public housing
  • certain government facilities (public education, public health, police or emergency facilities
  • staff housing provided in connection with public housing or certain government facilities.
