About
Presented by JCI Brisbane in partnership with Morningside School of Art, Debra Hood Art, and Kedron-Wavell, this vibrant youth art competition invites young people to envision Brisbane’s future through their own creative lens.
As Brisbane prepares to host the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, we encourage young artists to imagine what our city could look like in the lead-up to this global event. From urban landscapes and sustainable innovations to community spirit and cultural pride, this competition is a platform for young people to express their hopes and ideas for a future Brisbane.
Open to all students across Queensland, “Brisbane Through Young Eyes” also supports the 100-year-old heritage restoration of Morningside School of Art, merging the past and future through youth creativity.
The competition aligns with the Queensland Youth Week theme 'Express. Empower. Inspire.' by offering young people a platform to explore identity, leadership, and vision through art. Participants will gain opportunities for public exhibition, community recognition, and creative growth.
By celebrating Brisbane’s journey toward 2032, we hope to inspire youth voices and empower the next generation of changemakers.
