Olympic and Paralympic Teams Welcome Home Queensland Celebration

On Saturday 14 September we celebrated the remarkable achievements of Australian athletes who competed at the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games at a special Welcome Home Celebration at South Bank’s Cultural Forecourt in Brisbane.

This free event was an opportunity to cheer home our Olympic and Paralympic heroes who proudly represented Australia on the world stage.

Attendees wore their best green and gold to show their support and had the chance to meet and greet some of their favourite athletes, hear their inspiring stories during a Q&A session and celebrate their incredible achievements.

There was also a fantastic lineup of live entertainment, sporting activations and delicious food from a variety of vendors.
