Inclusion and diversity
The Queensland Government is committed to addressing diversity and inclusion on Queensland Government boards, committees and other government bodies. Research has shown that achievement in diversity and inclusion is not only the right thing to do, it also provides organisations with a significant competitive edge. Specifically, gender diversity on boards has proven economic and social benefits for Queensland and we have taken deliberate action to address gender equity on our boards and committees.

We promote Queensland as a united, harmonious and inclusive community which aims to foster opportunities for people from all backgrounds—including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, people with disability and other diverse groups. We are looking for people from all walks of life to take part and bring different perspectives to the table.
