Kinship care contacts and support
As a kinship carer there are many people and places you can turn to for guidance and support.
In addition to the Child Safety Service Centre in your area, or your local non-government foster and kinship care agency, there are networks of carers who meet to share experiences and support each other.
Carers can also seek support from Queensland Foster and Kinship Care, a community organisation that supports and advocates for carers and children and young people in their care.
Specific Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community controlled foster and kinship care services also provide support to Indigenous kinship carers.
Please visit our Where to get help section to find information about and contacts for a number of different agencies and services who can support you.
