Delivering kindergarten learning programs
Kindergarten teachers who deliver an approved kindergarten program can refer to:
- the Queensland kindergarten learning guideline (PDF, 2.93MB) for support with planning, interacting with children, monitoring and assessing and sharing information in kindergarten contexts
- the Continua of learning and development (PDF, 1.52MB) for advice on how to assess, reflect and make evidence-based judgments about a child’s learning progress
- similar programs accredited by the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority such as the C&K Building waterfalls: teaching and learning guidelines.
The guidelines are based on the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia (PDF, 170KB) which supports early childhood educators working with children from birth to 5 years.
