Education Queensland International programs
As part of the Queensland Department of Education, Education Queensland International (EQI) has extensive experience developing international student programs in Queensland Government schools.
EQI study options:
- EQI Primary School for students studying from Preparatory (Prep) level to Year 6
- EQI High School Preparation, an intensive English program to prepare students for mainstream high school classes
- High School Study Abroad for students in Years 7 to 12 to study for 3, 6, 9 or 12 months
- High School Program for students who want to complete their high school education and graduate with a Queensland Certificate of Education
- International Baccalaureate Diploma, an internationally recognised pre-university qualification that is a symbol of academic excellence worldwide
Queensland Government schools also host short-term study tours for groups of overseas students wishing to enrich their educational and cultural experience. Students have the opportunity to enhance their English language skills and academic capabilities by studying alongside their school buddies in a Queensland classroom environment.
