There are many costs associated with your child's education, even if they attend a Queensland Government school. This page has information on some of those costs, and the support payments that may help.

- school fees and contributions, including voluntary financial contributions

Support payments
Textbook and Resource Allowance
The Textbook and Resource Allowance helps parents of high-school-age children. Check the eligibility requirements if your child attends a:
School transport assistance schemes
Transport assistance schemes are available for students whose access to school is affected by distance, disability or costs.
Student concessions are offered on public transport in Queensland.
School uniforms
Many Queensland schools have a uniform shop or arrangements with uniform suppliers. Many schools also have second-hand uniforms for sale.
