TJ Ryan Memorial Medal and Scholarship
TJ Ryan Memorial Medal and Scholarships are awarded each year to support Queensland students who show outstanding leadership in their school and community, and achieve academic excellence in Year 12.
State and non-state secondary schools are invited to nominate one high achieving Year 12 student for this award.
Awards
Each year we award up to:
- 10 scholarships—valued at up to $10,000 each over a maximum of 5 years
- 5 high commendations—$1,000 each
- 20 certificates of merit.
Scholarship recipients receive a $1,000 payment at the start of their first semester of their study.
Further scholarship payments will be made at the start of each semester when we receive confirmation of enrolment and evidence of successful results for the previous semester.
