Reports and publications
A variety of land use mapping reports and associated datasets are available. The most recent land use map of the Great Barrier Reef catchments was published in 2022. It is available by searching “Land use mapping - 2021 - Great Barrier Reef NRM regions” in the Queensland Spatial Catalogue (QSpatial). Complementary metadata, also available in QSpatial, include all details about this dataset. Previous reports are available via direct links below as well as in the Department of Environment and Science (DES) online library catalogue.

Land use web maps and apps
Land Use Summary Apps were developed to present land use mapping products and summary statistics online. These new tools (web maps and apps) enabled efficiencies for sharing mapping products.
