Previous SLATS data, reports and publications
Previous spatial data products
Previous Landsat-based SLATS products can be downloaded from the QSpatial data portal or viewed on the Queensland Globe in the Environment theme. This includes spatial datasets for:
- historical land cover change data and SLATS Landsat image date footprints (QSpatial and Queensland Globe)
- historical foliage projective cover (vegetation density) and woody extent data (QSpatial).
Data summary for 1988 to 2018
A data summary spreadsheet for all SLATS Landsat-based reporting between 1988 and 2018 is available.
The spreadsheet contains woody vegetation clearing summaries for landcover replacement class, repeat clearing, clearing in remnant and non-remnant areas, bioregions and sub-bioregions, drainage divisions, catchments, the Great Barrier Reef catchment, natural resource management regions and local government areas.
The SLATS methodology has been revised and enhanced in recent years. Due to these enhancements, SLATS reporting based on Landsat—up to and including the 2017–18 SLATS report—is not comparable with any reporting released after that date.
