Description

The project outcomes are outlined as follows:

1. Gunggari cultural heritage archive - collated cultural heritage information and knowledge from external repositories and Gunggari Elders. Repository for the stories, places, history, practices, networks, memories, and beliefs that guide Gunggari site management and tie people to land.
2. Development and implementation of processes, training and documentation to manage Gunggari cultural heritage, access to country, compliance and sites.
3. Increased ability to respond to Future Acts notices; conducting cultural heritage inspections when requested; undertaking cultural heritage surveys when access is permitted with landholders as per ILUAs.
4. Resources to collect additional site data and register sites with DATSIP where appropriate.
