Description: This project aims to develop a Muunthiwarra Country Plan. Through the planning process, Traditional Owners will come together to agree priority natural and cultural values on Muunthiwarra Country, threats to those values and strategies to deal with threats and protect values. The plan will document this information and will be used as the basis for seeking resources to manage Country and as the basis for future Muunthiwarra ranger work planning. Management issues to be addressed by the plan will include cultural burning guidelines and identifying priority weeds and pests. It will also address economic development opportunities identified by Traditional Owners during the planning process, including potential guided cultural tours to rock art sites on Muunthiwarra Country.
