Registering positive rapid antigen tests (RATs)
The Rapid antigen test (RAT) - positive COVID-19 result registration form is no longer available.
Queensland Health is now monitoring COVID-19 as part of the broader surveillance of acute respiratory illnesses, which also includes influenza and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).
This change is in response to:
- evidence pointing to a decline in COVID-19 waves, and
- the World Health Organization’s (WHO) declaration that the illness is no longer managed as a public health emergency.
If you require evidence of your COVID-19 infection, you can obtain a medical certificate from a relevant health practitioner, including a general practitioner or pharmacist. If the evidence is for your employer, medical certificates or statutory declarations are examples of acceptable forms of evidence. For further information see Notice & medical certificates - Fair Work Ombudsman.
You will still have access to informed and timely COVID-19 resources on this website to help you take health measures appropriate to your individual needs.
