Resilient Homes Fund contractor register
The Resilient Homes Fund and QBCC have released a register of builders licensed to coordinate repairs for flood-impacted homeowners.
The register is made up of more than 500 builders from across flood-impacted areas in Queensland who have opted-in to provide support to homeowners who need a builder to coordinate preliminary, raise or retrofit works on their home.
Homeowners now have access to two search tools to find a tradie for their home, the Resilient Homes Fund Contractor Register and the QBCC Licensee Search.
More information about the contractor register
If you’re looking for a builder to coordinate home raise or retrofit works
Use the Resilient Homes Fund Contractor register to search by location and builder type for your home. The register provides contact details for builders who you can contact for a quote.
Please note that builders on the register may experience an influx of calls from homeowners so leave a message if you are unable to reach your builder the first time.
If you’re looking for an individual contractor or business
Use the Queensland Building and Construction Commission’s (QBCC) local contractor search tool to find individual contractors and trades, including plumbers.
To search for an electrician, you can use the Electrical Safety Office’s search tool.
It is not compulsory to use the Resilient Homes Fund Contractor Register. If you’re already working with a builder but would like to provide them with more information about the program, they can find helpful resources through the links below:
