Anti-Discrimination Commission Queensland
The commission deals with discrimination complaints and breaches of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 in Queensland. Their information brochures explain the complaint process and the types of unfair treatment that the commission deals with.

Free legal help
Legal Aid Queensland
Free legal help is available to Queenslanders who cannot afford a private lawyer.
Legal Aid can help with legal information, advice and representation for youth and adults in:
- Civil law (including anti-discrimination)
- Criminal law
- Family law
- Child protection

Queensland Law Society (QLS)
Eligible people can access a ‘Pro Bono Scheme’ which is free legal help for issues such as discrimination (not family law or criminal matters).

The Homeless Person’s Legal Clinic (HPLC) offers free legal advice and help for homeless or those at risk of homelessness

Community legal centres offer free legal advice for people who cannot afford their own legal representation.
