Rent statement
If you are a Queensland public housing tenant, the rent statement for the public housing property you live in shows the balance of your account (similar to a bank statement). It lists all charges by the department and payments made by you.
You will receive a rent statement each time your rent is reviewed or if your rent amount changes.
You can ask for a rent statement at any time. Contact your nearest Housing Service Centre and they will send one to you.
Keeping rent statements
You should keep your rent statements for your own records.
If you lose any of your statements, you can contact your nearest Housing Service Centre. They will send you a statement for the dates you request.
