Authorised person

An authorised person’s roles can include whether:

• a non-state school is complying with the accreditation criteria
• the governing body is suitable to be the governing body
• a temporary special assistance school is complying with their requirements
• a school is being operated for a profit
• the governing body has any conflicting interests.
