Consumer issues impacting Indigenous Australians
The National Indigenous Consumer Strategy (NICS) reference group conducted a survey to better understand the consumer protection issues affecting Indigenous Australians.
The Queensland Office of Fair Trading is a proud member of NICS. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) is the current NICS Chair.
NICS is made up of members from:
- the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC)
- all state and territory fair trading agencies
