How to access

Download the free Qld Fishing 2.0 app via the App Store or Google Play.

Tap on the 'Sign up' button in the side menu to create your account.

What you can do

  • Easily access your fishing history, with up to 9 environmental factors added in for each trip.
  • Get detailed fishing stats.
  • Share a trip summary by social media, message or email.
  • Access extra information about the fish you're catching and how this data is used.
  • Identify your catch.
  • Check the rules for your fishing spot using 'Can I fish here?' feature.
  • Receive reminders about closures.
  • Find fish aggregating devices (FADs), boat facilities, stocked impoundments and artificial reefs.
  • Buy a permit to fish in stocked dams or weirs.
  • Link to Queensland weather and tide information.
  • Send us questions or feedback.
  • Use the app in remote locations and areas with limited reception.
  • Submit your fish photos via the 'Which fish is this?' feature to help us 'train' the app, which uses artificial intelligence to identify common fish species.
