6. Innisfail Motor Vehicle Inspection Centre

   Heavy vehicle inspections are now performed by the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR). You can book a NHVR heavy vehicle inspection using our online service.

   • pre-booked programmed inspections of heavy vehicles more than 16 tonne gross vehicle mass
   • pre-booked programmed inspections of trailers more than 10 tonne aggregate trailer mass
   • pre-booked programmed inspections of light passenger vehicles (only minibus 3.5-4.5 tonne gross vehicle mass). Note: Approved Inspection Stations may also inspect these vehicles.

7. Innisfail Transport and Main Roads Customer Service Centre

   Innisfail Customer Service Centre will be closed from Wednesday 25 December 2024 to Wednesday 1 January 2025, reopening Thursday 2 January 2025. The closest open centre is Cairns Customer Service Centre. Alternatively, there are a range of online services available.

9. Ipswich Transport and Main Roads Customer Service Centre

   Ipswich Customer Service Centre will be closed from Wednesday 25 December 2024 to Friday 27 December 2024, reopening Monday 30 December 2024. Also closing Wednesday 1 January 2025. Alternatively, there are a range of online services available.

   Ipswich Customer Service Centre is an appointment-only centre. Walk-in services are unavailable at this site.
