Why become an Award Centre?
- The program helps young people develop important skills and attributes such as leadership, confidence, community connection and goal setting. It can also help them gain credits towards their Queensland Certificate of Education.
- The Duke of Ed and Bridge Award programs compliment many of the programs and activities you may already offer to young people.
- You can connect with other organisations, schools and community groups through national events, social media and regular bulletins.
- The Duke of Ed and Bridge Award programs offer a volunteering framework for your staff and give young people the opportunity to connect with other people in the community.
- You can connect with The Duke of Ed’s international network and access opportunities for professional development and information sharing.
- You will be supported by our state office in Brisbane. We can also provide you with promotional materials, equipment, and training.
