The organisations and services listed below provide accommodation support.
Emergency accommodation
- Homeless Hotline is a phone information and referral service for people who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness. Phone 1800 474 753 (24 hours, 7 days).
- If you’re experiencing domestic and family violence (DFV) phone DVConnect on 1800 811 811 (24 hours, 7 days) to find emergency accommodation support and get advice on how to stay safe. You can also visit the Queensland Government DFV Portal to find housing options or contact your local government-funded DFV support service.
- If you're experiencing or facing homelessness, you can also phone Kids Helpline and they will help you to get in contact with homeless helplines and services. Phone 1800 55 1800 (24 hours, 7 days).

Public and community housing
- You may be eligible for public and community housing. Find more information online or contact your local Housing Service Centre for advice.
- If you are under age 25, in the child protection system and transitioning to living independently, you may be eligible for more streamlined social housing access. Find out more.
