Preparing for parenthood

If you, or someone you know, is a young parent-to-be, there are many resources available to help you prepare for pregnancy and birth.

Additionally, if you are a young parent who is experiencing domestic and family violence or abuse, there are services that can provide help. These services can assist in providing emergency housing and any help you may need as you prepare for pregnancy. Look on our Domestic and Family Violence website for more resources.

If you are experiencing an emergency where violence is happening now or a life is at risk, please call Triple Zero (000) immediately.

If there is no immediate danger, you can report domestic and family violence to the police by contacting Policelink on 13 14 44.

You can also request non-urgent police contact by submitting an online form.
