- Victim Assist Queensland Victim Assist Queensland provides information for victims of crime, including how to report an incident, and contacts for getting further support and advice.
- Domestic violence orders A domestic violence order (DVO) is made by a magistrate in court and can protect you and others by making a person committing violence against you be of good behaviour and not commit domestic violence. Find out more about DVOs and how to apply for one.
- Emergency and temporary accommodation Find support if you need emergency and temporary accommodation.
- How to access a safe house This will open (www.dvconnect.org) Safe Houses (sometimes called a 'refuge' or 'women's shelters') provide safe and secure accommodation for women and children escaping domestic violence in their homes or community. Placement in a safe house can be arranged by contacting DVConnect Womensline on 1800 811 811.
