Attracting veterans to your organisation

There are numerous benefits in employing Australian Defence Force veterans in your organisation. Veterans offer many skills including self-discipline, a strong work ethic and excellent team skills to any workplace.

The Queensland Government recognises these skills and works with agencies across the public sector to ensure veterans are supported and encouraged to succeed in their civilian careers. Programs to support veterans within the Queensland Government include the Connecting the Sector Mentoring Program and Queensland Government Veterans’ Network.
