Blue cards for Queensland Corrective Services officers

You don’t need a blue card if you are working within your professional capacity as a Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) employee.

For example, if you are a QCS employee working with a person under the age of 18, as part of your role you will not need a blue card.

You will only need a blue card if you do other work/volunteering with children that is not part of your work with QCS.
