Advice for consumers with disability
Your consumer rights
You have consumer rights, regardless of whether you pay for a good or service yourself, with NDIS money, or through a disability support service.
Door-to-door and telephone selling
When a salesperson comes to your door or calls you on the telephone trying to sell you something, you have extra consumer rights.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme
If you participate in the NDIS and you have a problem with a disability related product or service you have paid for, you can use your consumer rights to get the problem fixed.
