What Information do I need to register my business account in the E2 GRP?
- Account Administrator (Key Contact) registration (sign in profile) – The key contact for the organisation must register the account. This is the person the department will contact regarding your Business Account. Register using your first name, surname, club generic email address and password. This must be completed by an authorised organisation member to create the business account.
- ABN (Australian Business Number) – The name registered under this number is regarded as the legal registered name for a business account. All related documentation (e.g. bank statements) should reference this legal name.
- OFT (Queensland Office of Fair Trading) number – If applicable.
- Correct validated physical and postal address details – Must include a postcode.
- Primary email address – This email will be used by the department to send payment remittance advices. Ensure all authorised users have access to this email address.
- Key Contact – Person the department will contact regarding your account.
- Accountable Officer – Person who has overall accountability for the organisation.
How do I register my business account in the Enquire GRP?
- Initial registration and creation of a username and password – Enter your email, create a password, and set up your client profile.
- Login with your profile registration details.

Complete all mandatory fields for your business account registration:
- Read and check any privacy or terms and conditions statements.
- Enter the business ABN or ACN – the form will auto-populate with listed ABR details for that number (e.g. legal registered business name, GST registration details).
- Enter any related website address and contact phone number(s) for the business, including the month of your Annual General Meeting. The website and email will be listed publicly on the Sport and Recreation Services website.
- Enter any related OFT number in the OFT section (e.g. IA12345) – ensure no spaces are used.
- Enter a generic organisation email as the primary email address to receive payment remittance advice (e.g. secretary@example.com).

Enter and validate the business account’s physical address – ensure a postcode is included. Then enter and validate a postal address.
- If unsure of your correct address, refer to a rates notice – these details are used for geocoding purposes.
- If the mailing address is the same as the physical address, you can copy the details. Otherwise, enter a separate mailing address.
- If your organisation is associated with a State or National Organisation, select “Yes” and identify that body. You can also name a Regional Sporting body if applicable.
- Add the Key Contact position title.
- Add the Accountable Officer for the Organisation. (Note: this will not grant the Accountable Officer access to the account – they can be invited as a system user later.)
The department values the integrity and accuracy of information contained in the GRP. Your organisation’s registration cannot be validated if it contains inaccurate or incomplete data. Unvalidated registrations will result in delays to payments.

E2 GRP Account Access Roles
Account Administrator (Key Contact)
Is responsible for registering and maintaining the business account. This is the person authorised to act on the business account’s behalf including maintaining ensuring the organisation details are current and maintaining who can access the account.
If your Account Administrator (Key Contact) is changing then follow the ‘invite a new user’ steps and select Account Administrator and Key Contact for their role.
If your registered Account Administrator (Key Contact) is no longer a part of the organisation in any capacity, you will need to complete and submit an Account Administrator Change Request Form.
General User
A ‘General User’ is a person invited into the GRP by an Account Administrator (Key Contact) can apply for grant programs and view all projects. For voucher programs they can redeem vouchers.
Basic User
A person invited into the GRP by an Account Administrator (Key Contact) who can apply and submit grant applications. They can only view applications they have submitted.
Inviting a new user
Only an Account Administrator (Key Contact) can invite a new user to access the GRP on behalf of the business account e.g. another club member, committee member, or grant writer.
To invite a new user the Account Administrator (Key Contact) must:
- Use the Business Account drop down in the portal and click:
- Account Details
- Contacts tab and select Create Contact
- Enter new user details & email address at this screen
- Select send invite and then select the role of Account Administrator/General/Basic User then save.
The new user will receive an invitation email with an activation link which they will need to action. If this link is not accepted the account will not activate. Check the junk email folder if the activation link is not received.
NOTE: The invitee must register using the email address the invitation was sent to.
Assigning Organisation Responsibilities to user accounts (Accountable Officer and Key Contact)
To assign a responsibility to a user account the Account Administrator (Key Contact) must:
- Use the Business Account drop down in the portal and click:
- Account Details
- Contacts tab and select the contact
- Click on the 3 dots
- Assign either Accountable Officer or Key Contact role
Note – Only active accounts can be assigned the Key Contact or Accountable Officer roles.
Accountable Officer
This person has overall accountability for Organisation and the applications and reports submitted. The ‘Accountable Officer’ must be the most senior person within organisation.
Account Administrator (Key Contact)
A Key Contact is the organisation representative who the department will contact in relation to your account management (if support or updates are required) and will receive email notifications sent by the department.
How do I update the Business Account?
The Account Administrator (Key Contact) can update account details if they change.
To update the Business Account if information changes:
- Use the Business Account drop down in the portal and click:
- Account Details
- Under the details tab edit the relevant information
Information for grant writers and organisations that use grant writers
Grant writers should only be added as a basic user in the GRP by Account Administrator (Key Contact).
How to reset my password?
- Select the ‘Forgot your password?’ link under the log in area of Enquire Login
- Enter the email address associated with the Business Account and select ‘Continue.’
- An email will be sent to the email address registered to that account. A temporary password will be issued and you will be prompted to change this password the next time you log in.
What happens to my current projects/records?
If you register for an account in Enquire and have existing legacy projects in Enquire 1 (E1 - legacy system), those projects will remain in their current system. Please contact your local sport regional office. if you require access to legacy grants in E1 and do not have access.
