Year of the Dragon
Dragon is the only one creature, an animal that doesn't exist in real life and we always say dragon is a natural protector and is born to be a leader and also dragon is very sacred. So instead of having a dragon on the ground, I let the dragon fly in the sky.
So also, this sky is very special is the beautiful Queensland skies that we can see every single day. And I also pair it with a lot of colourful clouds which is the best wishes that I give for all the parents because colourful clouds means happiness and good fortune.
And the colour of this dragon I use multiple colours and you have a very strong contrast. And also I use gold paint in this whole design to show the special of this animal, of this creature. I drew them by hand one by one and I actually use double lining technique which is I outlined it with Chinese ink and then outlined it again with gold paint. This can create a better dimension of the scale of this whole design. So, I think this can bring the dragon more to life and it's like a creature that you can imagine in your head. Unlike other animals, dragon is non-exist.
Everyone's head have a different dragon and same as all the parents their baby is absolutely unique. And I want to use the dragon as a special one is because I want to convey a message that your baby is the most beautiful and the most unique. And only you can imagine how beautiful it is.
