I used a flower waratah in this painting they are a beautiful fire red colour flowers. And it has a lot of details that can complement the feather of the rooster here.
So, when I was doing the rooster in this design, I use the dry stroke techniques on the feather of the rooster. Which is instead of drawing the feather one by one I use dry strokes to represent the whole group of feathers of the rooster. And they look a little bit messy they don't look really, really one by one, one next to one together. But this little messiness showcase the little, very lively little rooster over there.
