Paradise Dam – a winner for water supply and local jobs

Enabling works for the new Paradise Dam wall are full steam ahead.

Geotechnical investigations currently underway will ensure a solid foundation for the new wall, while also providing Sunwater important insights into the costs and materials required to deliver the project.

Road network upgrades, including safety enhancements, are also in progress ahead of expected significant construction traffic.

The new dam wall will support local community and industries, ensuring a reliable water supply for decades to come.

The ongoing enabling works are already benefiting the community, creating 120 jobs, with the number expected to rise to approximately 350 as construction continues.
