- Websites built with HTML are the gold standard for accessibility.
- Any documents you upload need to be accessible.
- Make sure your content can be read by screen readers
- Use alt text for images
- Keyboard accessibility—can people tab through your website?
- Remember that moving content can be overwhelming—include a stop or pause button.
- Include an option for people to extend time-limits on websites so people can read at their own pace.
- Label forms clearly so people using screen readers know where they need to input information.
- Make sure there is a strong colour contrast—use colours that most people can see.
