For Cassowary Coast Regional local government area (LGA), the revaluation included 15,165 properties, with a total value of $3,001,442,230, an overall increase of 40% since the last revaluation issued in 2022.

Property market changes within the Cassowary Coast Regional LGA are being driven by:

  • growing demand and a low inventory of available stock
  • affordability of properties compared to other provincial centres
  • increased tourism for the Island Coast
  • strong fundamentals in the agricultural sector, particularly in the sugar cane and banana industries
