Other | $588,914,740 | $638,254,840 | 8.4% | 234 |
Explanatory notes
- Commercial land recorded a minor increase due to limited demand created by a subdued economic climate and cost of living pressures.
- Industrial land recorded a moderate increase due to strong demand for industrial land. The demand was created by an increase in localised manufacturing and strong e-commerce growth and the resultant need for logistic warehousing close to major transport corridors.
- Primary production land recorded a minor increase due to demand created by proximity to major centres, markets and lifestyle.
- Multi-unit residential land recorded a minor increase with this sector impacted by high construction costs.
- Other land recorded a minor increase overall. Englobo land (a large, undeveloped parcel of land that can be subdivided into smaller lots) values have been impacted by rising development costs.
