Explanatory notes
- Commercial land recorded a minor increase due to stable demand and an adequate supply of commercial land.
- Industrial land recorded a significant increase due to strong demand from manufacturing businesses and the limited supply of new industrial land.
- Primary production land recorded a minor increase driven by demand for farming produce on improving prices and proximity to major city markets.
- Multi-unit residential land recorded a moderate increase due to continued strong demand for semi-rural living close to Brisbane and the Gold Coast, affordability, strong interstate migration and investor demand.
- Other land recorded a significant increase overall, mainly due to strong sales of englobo land, (a large, undeveloped parcel of land that can be subdivided into smaller lots), driven by the industrial, residential, rural residential and multi-unit markets.
